Is polishing safe for the paint?

Yes. Before we start we measure the paint thickness on every panel and choose compounds that remove only a micro-layer of clear coat (around 2–4 microns). A one-step correction can be repeated regularly.

How do I keep the result for years?

Correction removes the defects but leaves the paint open to fresh scratches. To lock in the mirror finish and protect the paint, we recommend a ceramic, graphene or elastomeric coating — applied right after correction.

Do you polish the Piano Black pillars too?

Yes. All the delicate glossy black pillars and Piano Black trim — which pick up scratches fastest — are polished to a mirror along with the whole body.

01What it involves

What paint correction actually is

Correction is the machine removal of defects from the clear-coat layer. We start with a full decontamination and measure the paint thickness with a gauge on every panel, so we can choose a safe combination of compounds and pads. Then we precisely polish the whole body and the Piano Black trim, and check the result under detailing lamps after an IPA wipe-down. We polish the complete exterior — metal panels, painted plastics and glossy pillars.
